WebRecon LLC was born out of a Michigan collection agency. It was started by Integrity Professional Solutions CEO Jack Gordon in 2008 after he got fed up with the escalating number of frivolous FDCPA lawsuits being filed against the agency.

Despite being a member of the ACA in good standing and earning an "A-" from the Better Business Bureau, the litigation continued. It was clear that this was not directly related to the company's business practices, but the overall litigious environment in which our industry operates.

He decided to sell the agency and focus exclusively on addressing the rapidly growing problem of FDCPA lawsuits. After extensive research into the causes of the problem, Gordon and his partners developed strategies and tools to aggressively confront and expose the people who file the most suits with the least justification: habitual litigants.

WebRecon LLC launched operations in January, 2009.

Prior to the collection business, Gordon started and ran a cutting edge, niche marketing agency that catered to the movie theatre industry and pioneered the innovative use of the Internet for their marketing purposes.
